The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) UofT chapter will be hosting the Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Green Belt courses this semester. This year, these courses are designed to be completed in 3 days, but students have 6 months to complete it at their own pace. These courses can be taken by all disciplines and will provide preparation for working in a variety of industries. Learn how to integrate principles of business, statistics, and engineering to make tangible outcomes throughout your professional career.
Upon completion of the courses, you will be equipped to support and lead Six Sigma implementations in any organization. Topics covered in the course include DMAIIC, Six Sigma philosophy, statistical process control, process capability, financial implications and root cause analysis.
The full cost for a course is $400, and the MIE Department is offering a $200 subsidy per student to assist with this cost. If you register for 1 course, it will be $200. If you want to register for both courses, then the cost will be $600 (1 course at the subsidized fee of $200, and the 2nd course at the full $400 fee)
