UT² MAC Workshop

Date: May 16-17, 2024

Location: Material Science & Engineering, 184 College St, Toronto, ON M5S 3E4

Since its inception in 2001, the UT² workshop has brought together top researchers from Canada’s University of Toronto and Japan’s University of Tokyo, providing a platform for delving into cutting-edge research topics, fostering collaborations and facilitating scientific exchange. More recently, this collaboration has been opened to students and researchers from Canada’s McMaster University, leading to the formation of the UT²-Mac Workshop.

Following the long-standing tradition of annual meetings alternatingly hosted between the Universities of Toronto and Tokyo, this spring, the fifth UT²-Mac (22nd UT²) Student Workshop will be taking place in Canada, jointly hosted by McMaster (May 14-15) and the University of Toronto (May 16-17). This year’s program themes include:

1.      Engineering towards sustainable development goals

2.      Energy for the Future

3.      Engineering towards Innovative Medical Systems

Secure your spot by registering for the UT²-Mac Student Workshop for $300 per registrant. Don’t miss out on this unparalleled opportunity to engage with leading figures in a broad range of engineering fields, and to contribute to the advancement research and innovation!
